About

Jack Ramirez. Jr
Owner and General Contractor

A Southern California native, Jack has been around construction sites since he was 10 years old. He got his start by helping his dad with the family excavation and construction business. After college, Jack spent 5 years living in Minneapolis, Minnesota and apprenticing as a carpenter for Welch-Forsman General Contractors, one of the finest restorative builders in the Twin Cities. There he refined his carpentry skills and learned quality building practices that seamlessly integrate the new with the old.

When Jack and his family relocated back to Pasadena, CA, he founded Casa Bonita Builders. His mission is to beautify homes and build lasting relationships. He enjoys the challenge of bringing design ideas, architectural plans and client vision to life. Recently, he has focused on renovating homes in the Highland Park, Silverlake and Los Feliz neighborhoods – playing a part in the restoration of historic Los Angeles communities.

Jack is a graduate of Azusa High School and Pomona College in Claremont, CA with a degree in Economics. He holds a spot in the Athletic Hall of Fame at both schools and was a Division III All-American quarterback. While his quarterbacking days are behind him, he loves a game of pick-up basketball, a mountain trail run or wrestling with his sons!
