This 1920s Spanish style home has beautiful character inside and out that we sought to preserve and reimagine. In the master bedroom, we changed the location of one interior wall to create a more open, spacious room. We removed an oddly-placed closet to reveal 2 original windows. Between rebuilding the original windows and adding French doors from the bedroom out to the front patio, now the bedroom is infused with natural light and fresh air. We replaced the old closet with a new master walk-in closet with custom cabinetry. Updates to the bathroom included intricate tile work and a custom-built walnut vanity. In the laundry room, we improved the lay-out, built custom cabinets for storage and counters for ample work space. In the guest bath, we created an eye-catching built-in marble bathtub frame that created lots of usable counter space. And finally, we completed a full kitchen remodel to be consistent with homeowners’ modern style.
